I read the "Care and Feeding of a Pirate", the 3rd in Jennifer Ashley Pirate series, and was captivated by all the characters mentioned. I had to read both earlier books including the "Pirate Hunter." I really enjoyed the adventures and fast paced story line. The "Pirate Hunter" continued the rather outragous and spicy adventures of the character, James Ardmore. I will keep this 3 set series and read again at a later date.

There were very few women notorious pirate hunter James Ardmore wishes to encounter twice, but Diana Worthing is one of them. One year ago James abducted Diana, intent on wresting some much desired information from the bewitching, yet sharp-tongued, beauty only to release her two days later. Now, when a shipwrecked James washes ashore on the isolated British island of Haven, who should his rescuer be but Diana. With her young daughter and father, retired Admiral Lockwood, the recently widowed Diana is trying to rebuild her life only to find her plans thrown into disarray by the wickedly handsome James. In search of a particular pirate, James believes that Diana's father may have the answers he needs, but Diana is willing to do whatever it takes to protect her family's secrets. Readers who relish deliciously tortured heroes and spirited heroines who can give as good as they get will find much to savor in the latest bracing mix of sexy romance and treacherous intrigue from the consistently satisfying Ashley.
