Great book. My first read by this author but very good.
Back page-The heat is on--Katherine Inskip's life is at a complete standstill. She's overworked, stressed out and feeling blase about love-a bad state for the author of historical romances to find herself in.A vacation is what she needs-sun,sand and relaxation. But on a beautiful South Seas island,Kate finds a whole lot more than she'd bargained for.Jared Hawthorne, owner of the island resort and resident swashbuckler, could have stepped off the pages of one of her books. He's her perfect fantasy-charming,adventurous and dashing-and more than willing to play the part. But could Jared have to much in common with his pirate ancestors?
A fun light read from JAK...this is one of her earlier books and more romance than suspense.

This is a fun book about a strong, confident, and independant woman who becomes involved with an equally strong "pirate" on a South Seas island. Great summertime beach read!
Fun, quick read
