Its a really cute story for sure, And I definitely enjoyed it when I was a about 12-13 years old. however when you get older the story is a little more unbelievable because they are just elementary and young middle-schoolers, yet they act like older high-schoolers. Other than that its a very fun and cute series to read, especially with some of the characters introduced in the next few books. Its definitely not your typical "romance" book or "fantasy book". Its just a cute little book filled with some little cutesy magical mystery, cute and funny characters...no other way to describe it than "cute"

I HATED this book. I found the plot very silly and stupid and in general it was just very strange. I typically do not read this genre of books though, so I don't know if my review is a little bit biased or not.
