A fun little fairy tale book with a cute story line. A good lesson about laziness.
A very lazy messy housewife knows pixies are sticklers on neatness. She wishes they would come and clean her cottage. She tried all sorts of tricks to attract them. She finds out wearing wearing four leaf clovers helps you spot them. She finds a tree full and proceeds to cry about how sick she is and she needs someone to clean her house.
All the pixies come home with her and cleaned her house top to bottom. They asked her if she could get up the next day and she said she was too sick, but after they left she got up and danced a jig
They were hiding and saw her tricks. That day and into the night they pinched and tormented her. She tried to run but they wouldn't leave her alone till she started working and her house was spotless again. She never was lazy again!
