I dreamed a dream of a wondrous place,
Beyond the storm laden past,
Where present hopes and future promises
are wed by lovers' vows.

Where butterflies chase hearts
Under turquoise skies and tangerine clouds,
and life is lived in breathless moments
when awakened by the crimson dawn.

A place we can go...
where there is no pain,
there is no fear...
...only love.

Where rainbows are misty-hued bridges
between hearts of gold
shining bright through firelit eyes,
while the morning sun lays
warm tendrils of lace against royal skin.

Where fragrant candles infuse
the first morning's breath
with heaven's scent,
while angels stretch sleep-ruffled wings
to embrace the day.

A place we can go
where there are no tears,
there are no lies
...only love.

Where the mid-day sun
melts walls of stone
to reveal hidden gardens,
as our souls' flowers
turn their grateful faces to the light.

Where harmony abounds in ivory notes
carried softly on the winds of change,
soothing savage beasts
whose old hungers
are sated by bountiful feasts of sensual joy.

A place we can go
where there are no goodbyes,
there are no laments
...only love.

Where dusk lengthened shadows,
stretch into the night
holding hands with the dark,
bringing comfort to lovers
sitting quietly together
clothed only in misty moonlit veils.

Where diamonds stud the evening sky
with facets of love unbound,
flying freely like fireflies
through lavender fields
towards dreamswept vistas
of subconscious repose.

I dreamed a dream of a wondrous place,
Known only by love bonded souls.
A Place Called Forever
found deep in our hearts,
Where only two lovers can go.

A place we can go...
where there is no me,
there is no you...
...only us.
