I am curious what are you favorite places to curl up with a book. Who or what is your favorite thing to curl up with?

I like my bed with my Duke culred up close purring. If I had a tub I would probably read there a great deal. When I was pregnant with my last child I took my books to the public pool and read in there. I got some strange looks but I was able to carry her to term because of it.

I usually read at work (on night shift!) and in bed before sleeping. I'd love to read in the tub but the darn pages keep getting wet...

I read anywhere and anythime I can squeeze a few minutes of reading in. Out on my front porch, in my car (not while driving), in the kitchen while I'm cooking dinner, on the livingroom couch while DH is flipping channels on the tube, in bed (again while DH is flipping channels on the tube)....I've tried the tub, but only with books already damaged, just in case:)

Mostly the living room sofa with my reading lamp on, but since I crank the AC so it's nice and cold while I sleep, I end up doing my last 20-30 minutes of reading in bed - under my nice warm covers.

When I travel, or when DH is channel surfing, I just put in a pair of earplugs, and get my own little cone of privacy.  DH hates it - but I've told him if stops channel surfing I'll stop using earplugs!

In the living room curled up on the couch, in the den with a throw wrapped around me, in the car waiting on the school bus... you name it, I can read there. LOL

I read in bed alot, I listen to audio books when I'm in the car. I also listen to audio books when cleaning the house or doing laundry. I download them from my library (free) and then put them on my MP3 player. I keep a book in my purse at all times so I can read anytime I have down time.

I read in the car on road trips, at my son's sporting events, in the bed when the hubby is working on the computer, during commericals while watching tv, and in between customers at work.  Sometimes I'm reading before class and at breaks, just depends on the book.

I read on my bed.  Well, it's a futon actually.  During the day, it's up in the couch formation and I'm usually there, stretched out, with a book in my hand.

Anywhere and Everywhere I can get the chance! I read while cooking, waiting for the kids to get out of school in the car line, While my husband watches the same action adventure moviesw I've seen over and over, I have two or three going at once. One in the car and one by the bed....LOL!
