Places To Stay The Night is the story of the several residents of a small town in Massachusetts. Renata, who escaped her small town for New York just after high school, returns to her hometown in search of a miracle cure (in the form of clean air and quiet living) for her terminally ill child. The reader is introduced to Renata's former school mates, none of which have faired any better than Renata.
