Part science, part advocacy (as the author admits), for me, kind of hard to follow, because he jumps around between various years between 1997 and 2011. Very interesting information on what the effects of small pieces of plastics have on fauna. Kind of hard to read at one sitting without getting really depressed, I had to set it aside.
