My Dad just joined the club yipee!!  If I get enough credits, I can transfer them to him to order new books.  The beginning 2 credits do not go very far.  I am offering 2 for 1 on my entire bookshelf until midnight Halloween to raise some credits for him.

Thanks for the thought....he hasn't done a public profile yet though.  I wanted to snoop to see what kind of books he had posted also.  I think he is still trying to figure everything out. He did have to mail a book already and had to call me all excited about it (we know how that feels right?).  They just got the internet so he is just having a blast.!!  They are 700 miles away so they are pretty much on their own with the figuring out stuff. 

You have a great idea though, when he does the profile... I'll "advertise" his bookshelf!

you don't need a profile to have a shelf available for viewing- all you need is a nickname, which you get when you register.

When I try to bring him up in the member directory based on name and/or address, he doesn't appear because of no public profile.  So what you're telling me is that if I bring him up by his nickname he will be there then?
