Futuristic romance from Imajinn Books. At thirty-eight years old, Captain Soledad Scott is forced into accepting retirement, and de-commissioned as a ship's captain. So, she decides to begin a new phase in her life, and become a mother. Sol goes to the Pleasure Dome, where she pays to be impregnanted by a willing partner. Accept, she goes into the wrong room. Commander Gabriel Merriwether has gone to the Pleasure Dome for a night of no-strings sex, with a sterile partner. Sol and Gabe connect quickly, and have a steamy night of great sex. When the mistake is discovered, Sol takes off, and Gabe takes off after her, because he never agreed to be a parent, and because he can't forget Sol. She calms him in a way no one else ever has. But, Gabe is partly responsible for the loss of Sol's military career. The writing is good, the sex scenes steamy, nice HEA. Worth a credit.
