I loved this story of Jacquelyn Wren and Gabriel Drake. It has everything a romance novel should have; romance, passion, likeable and well-developed characters and story line, mystery and treasure (Drake is not really the first pirate in his family), adventure and intrigue...not to mention some comedy. A few passages had me laughing out loud. On my personal rating scale of 1-4 stars, I gave this book 4 stars but here I give it 5 stars. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a good read. Can't wait for Emily's next book.

Yet Mistress Jack was the only woman he wanted, no matter what her heritage. And everyone knows what a pirate wants, a pirate takes....
