This book was short, sweet and funny as all get out! As much as I love the play between Stephanie, Ranger and Joe, when Stephanie teams up with Diesel, I laugh a little bit more.
Helpful Score: 4
Slim but enjoyable Evanovich book. A bit less cohesive than the numbers series, and it feels a bit like what it was - an attempt to get the Stephanie Plum fan without a full numbers book release from Evanovich. Paperback Swap is the best way to read this one.
Helpful Score: 4
Lots of fun - cute break from the regular books. Diesel returns and we learn a little more about him and the Unmentionables. Also, some fun hints or maybe red herrings about who Stephanie eventually ends up with...
Helpful Score: 3
I love the between the numbers Stephanie Plum books as a quick fix between the real novels. Same great Plum antics in an itty bitty package.
Helpful Score: 2
This was a good book, but it's too short and seems like Evanovich is kind of desperate to keep her name out there between books. The plot was really reaching in some places. It's good, and definitely worth reading since some of the elements in the book will carry into #13, but it's not her best writing or my favorite of the series.
Helpful Score: 2
Short and sweet and fun as always.

This was a fun quick read. Stephanie becomes a matchmaker while working with hunky Diesel. The sexual tension is great.

I love Stephanie Plum! This was a good fast read. I highly recommend it!

Just as good as all of the others in this series. If you haven't read the series you must start with One for the Money and read them all. Good humor.

I know others love these books, but I just couldn't get into them.

I just ca't get into the between the numbers books. I love the regular series, but these are too fluffy for me, but I have to keep reading them because they always seem to have a detail or two I need in the regular series.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. If you're a fan of Janet Evanovich you will love this book too. It's rather short but it still has all the elements that we love in a Stephanie Plum book. Can't wait to read the next one!!!

Great book! So good I read it in an hour!!
Helpful Score: 1
Stephanie has a new man in her life. Diesel. He wants to make a deal. He'll help Stephanie find Annie Hart, wanted for armed robbery if Stephanie plays matchmaker. As usual Stephanie is in the wrong place at the wrong time getting into trouble and needing to be rescued by Joe or Ranger. Good story
Helpful Score: 1
Stephanie Plum never disappoints. She is just as funny as always.
Helpful Score: 1
Just a funny, in-between, novel book with Stephanie still playing bounty hunter and getting in over her head. This time she's playing matchmaker for Valentine's Day as a condition of getting on of her clients.
Her sister is still single and waiting for Albert to marry her.
Stephanie still has Joe and Ranger as her love interests!
Nice, fluff, to break the monotony of a series!

I couldn't stop laughing...
fun book - very little of Ranger and Joe, but Diesel is in it. Quick read.
Another great Stephanie Plum adventure...Diesel is back and in this fast-read, between-the-numbers book, Stephanie and Diesel are looking for the same person: a relationship expert who is being stalked by an unmentionable.
Stephanie's family is crazy as ever and Stephanie agrees to take over for the relationship expert until Diesel can catch her stalker. Hilarious...and a fun, temporary departure from the Ranger/Joe Morelli saga!

a cute quick read, nice to keep in touch with stephanie plum until #13 comes out!
Love, love, love the Stephanie Plum series. This was no exception. Quick read with all the fun characters but not as serious a plot. Great for a quick Plum fix! Would definately read again during a withdrawl period!
Stephanie Plum 'nough said!!!
Good, just not great.
This was a light and fast-moving story, but I find the in-between books in the Plum series to be a bit over the top. They are clever but unable to hold my attention as the numbered tomes do.
Quick light read, as always Janet is funny.
very good book-sorry review late-husband has had 2 major surgeries in 30 days-thats when i read the book-fast deliivery--thanks--God bless!!
Cute Stephanie Plum short story. Only 164 pages.. very fast read
Quick and fin read about Stephanie.
A new mysterious man in Stephnies life!!! As always
a fun mystery!
a fun mystery!
A Stephanie Plum novel(between the numbers!!) - a Valentine's story. Funny as usual for Evanovich.
enough to keep me "fixed" until the next one comes out!
I just love Stephnie Plum books, she keeps us laughing. Can't wait for her new number 13.
lots of fun with Stephanie, as usual!
THIS IS ANOTHER GOOD BOOK BY JANET EVANOVICH.SHORT AND SWEET.NOT AS DETAILED AS IT COULD HAVE BEEN BUT LIGHT AN EASY READ
fun fast read, if you want something good but that will not take up a lot of time this is it..
I love these books they make me laugh out loud and I cant wait to read the next one
typical stephanie plum...entertaining reading
Good light read... Evanovich is awesome
This book, like all others of Janet Evanovich, is very good. It is funny, but also has a story to go along with it. You don't need to read all of her other Stephanie Plum novels to understand it. I recommend it.
Her dry sense of humor is very entertaining. The characters will keep you laughing.
The in between the numbers books are pretty good, this one included. Stephanie Plum is helping unmentionable Diesel chase an unmentionable who is chasing another unmentionable who thinks she is cupid. Its cute, and her sister finally gets married to her umpli wunpkins. Grandma and Lula are, as always, hilarious.
Love Janet - and Stephanie Plum!! This author always makes me laugh out loud when reading her stories!
Silly book - couldn't figure out where it began and where it ended... and well, is it just me or did Ms. Plum not even catch the criminal she was chasing?
Great book in the set of Stephanie Plum books. Laugh out loud book!
Not as good as her "numbered" books, but still pretty funny.
Janet Evanovich and Stephanie Plum. Do I need to say more? Wonderful book with Plum as an accident prone cupid. Love it.
It was a very easy fast read. I am a huge Plum fan and this was only my second "in between" book that I have read. It was fun to have some new characters.
Hot guys, adventures, & laughs. I love this books series.
Stephanie is at it again, Diesel is back, and Lula is in top form. I always laugh out loud at their antics and recommend the series as a way to forget your stresses and end the day relaxed. Evanovich definitely has a way of creating pictures in your mind.
Great Book
All of Janet's books are excellent. It's great to follow the anventures of Stephanie, LuLu and Grandma in their bumbling adventures. I would recommend all the Plum books to anyone that needs a light, laugh out loud read every once in a while.
i love all of her stephanie plum novels
This is a hilarious series of funny storied books. I read one book and then had to find them all.
Unfortunately Janet doesn't know how to turn on the heat for the romantic side of her stories... and how come Stephanie is never compensated for her losses, and is always just an out of luck victim?? Her new brother in law could be suing these guys for her.

This book isn't as good as the "Real" Plum books but it does introduce "Diesel" who is interesting and sexy so it's worth reading.
This is a Stephanie Plum novel - Between-the-Numbers. Not only does Stephanie have Morelli on the hook; and ranger in the shadows; but now Diesel comes to call again. Grandma is at it again - I won't tell you what she does this time!
Great little fix between 12 & 13...a cute Valentine's Day book that'll have you laughing out loud.
Gotta love the quirky characters!!
Great fun, as usual!
ANOTHER GREAT BOOK BY EVANOVICH, CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE! A LITTLE TOO SHORT BUT, ALWAYS A GOOD READ.
Cute book.....but not as humorous as the "numbers". After all, how could it be as good as the others......no Ranger or Morelli in this one. Still, a good fast read. Stephanie is once again up to her eyeballs in fiascos.
This is called a "Stephanie Plum Between-the-Numbers Novel. And as usual it is delicious and hilarious! I throughly enjoyed it and read it in one day. Janet Evanovich is the only author that can make me laugh until I cry!
Very good, quick read!
Is there another love interest for Stephanie? Find out more in this book, maybe! Very cute and entertaining. Short read but nice to have considering the wait for 13 seems like it is taking forever. Loved it
Great Valentines day Stephanie story.
What can I say? Another winner from Janet - yet it was just a teaser and taste of 'Lean Mean Thirteen' which will be out soon. I can not WAIT to read that. I'm glad that she puts out "in between" books so that I can get my Stephanie Plum fix. Still laugh out loud through this book! Loved it!
Another fun and entertaining novel from Janet Evanovich. There's lots of humor and adventure in this enjoyable and quick read.
Another great Stephanie Plum
Short, but, as always entertaining.
Fantastic 'in-between' book - although I don't remember Diesel from the other books!!
Another easy and funny story of the tales of Stephanie Plum!
Very quick read, fun, Valentine's Day theme.
2 stars
Stephanie plays cupid for a deal to get her bond. Just as funny and delightful as always!
Fast read...not quite as funny as some but still cute!
Loved it!
Short, quick read
A must read for Stephanie Plum fans. The cast of characters is goofier than ever when Stephanie has to play cupid, Stephanie-style!
Was not my favorite Plum book. It was funny in spots.
Love, love, love this book! If you love Stephanie Plum, you'll love this "in between the novels" book. I laughed so hard I almost cried! Enjoy!!!!!
Diesel joins Stephanie in looking for another Untouchable. Not much Ranger or Morelli, but Albert Kloughn returns. At certain parts, the book had me giggling so much I awoke my husband while he was trying to sleep - I just couldn't keep from laughing right out loud!
Anything Evanovich writes with this cast of characters is guaranteed to be funny. This does not disappoint.
This is a brand new, between the numbers Stephanie Plum book! It is a quick and funny read.
This is a very fun book. As with any Plum novel I coudn't put it down. Not to spoil it but there is a wedding and you will never guess who.
Yet another good book by Janet Evanovich. I'm a big fan of Stephanie Plum, can't wait for the next one.
Diesel reappears to help Stephanie celebrate Valentines Day. A funny, short book.
Very quick, fun read. Diesel from Visions of Sugar Plums is back in this story.
Not quite as involved as her "number" books, but a fun read all the same!!
Another 'between the numbers' in the Stephanie Plum series - a delightful, entertaining read. A must for any Plum Fan.
Your typical laugh out loud Plum novel. Fast read!
Quick easy read.
Another between the numbers Stephanie Plum- Cute, but too short! Very quick read- only 162 pages! Bring on the next "number" book!
164 pages, but just as fun as the full-length Plum books. Lots going on, lots of laughs, lots of characters (Joe and Ranger both make a brief appearance in the book, and Lula, Tank, and Stephanie's family are all part of the story as well). Well written. I really enjoyed it and didn't mind that it was shorter.
Another great Stephanie Plum book! Made me smile and laugh all the way through.
New man in Stephanie's life, Diesel, is every bit as fun as Joe & Ranger.
A very funny and fun Evanovich book. If you never have read any of the Stephanie Plum books before, this is a great one to pick up. As this was my 1st one and now I am hooked!
Much better than visions of sugar plums. Helped feed my stephanie plum addiction until the next book comes out in a few months. Delightful short story!
Mysterious men have a way of showing up in Stephanie Plum's apartment. when the shadowy Diesel appears, he has a task for Stephanie-and he's not taking no for an answer. Annie Hart is a "relationship expert" who is wanted for armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. Stephanie needs to find her, fast. Diesel knows where she is. So they make a deal. He'll help her get Annie if Stephanie plays matchmaker to several of Annie's most difficult clients. But someone wants to find Annie even more than Diesel and Stephanie. Someone with a nasty temper. And someone with"unmentionable" skills. Does Diesel know more than he's saying about Annie Hart? Does Diesel have secrets he's keeping from Stephanie and the two men in her life-Ranger and Morelli? With Stephanie Plum in over her head, things are sure to get a little dicey and a little explosive, Jersey style!
Stephanie always makes me smile. Diesel guest stars with an entwined adventure about Unmentionables and Steph's big ticket bond Annie Hart. They make Valentine's Day better!
Easy reading
Wonderful! Just not nearly long enough ...

The Barnes & Noble Review
The saying "When it rains, it pours" certainly applies to the love life of Stephanie Plum, the charming protagonist in Janet Evanovich's wildly popular mystery saga featuring the lingerie buyer turned bounty hunter (Twelve Sharp, Eleven On Top, et al.). In Plum Lovin' -- a "between-the-numbers" mini-escapade -- Plum's love triangle (which includes Trenton cop Joseph Morelli and bounty hunter Ricardo "Ranger" Manoso) suddenly becomes a quadrilateral when Diesel, a hunky heartthrob who is as mentally unstable as he is mysterious, suddenly shows up in Plum's life.
A self-proclaimed Unmentionable (someone with abilities that "go beyond what would be considered normal human limitations"), Diesel is somewhere between a certifiable wack job and a superhero with a bad attitude, but Stephanie couldn't care less about his grasp (or lack thereof) on reality: He has killer dimples and a smile that makes women weak in the knees. And he has Annie Hart, a bail-jumping "relationship expert" who is on Stephanie's most wanted list, in his possession. For Plum to get hold of Hart, however, she must first help out five of Annie's lovelorn clients. So, with Valentine's Day quickly approaching, Plum is forced to play Cupid for a divorced mother of four, a dorky vet, a 35-year-old virgin, a shy butcher, and her sister's boyfriend!
Readers who don't find themselves spontaneously laughing out loud throughout this novel should check for a pulse. Paul Goat Allen

As always anything Janet Evanovich writes you can bet it will be a hit. I have some of her older books before Stephanie Plum and the writing is just as good. I don't think she can write a bad one.
another Great book as always
Very funny - espcially Grandma Mazur!
the whole Stephanie Plum series is and has been a great, fun read. highly recommended!!
Another one of Janet's masterpieces!
Gotta love Stephanie Plub
Just a romp! All the familiar characters and a sweet read too! Loved it.
Everybody loves Stephanie Plum!
another entertaining book in the life of Stephanie Plum
This was a fun book to read. I didn't want it to end, so I started the next one in the series right away.
Follow Stephanie Plum, PI, through her love life...which will it be Ranger or Joe Morelli?? haha. Hard decision there since both are hunks of MEN and hunks of Love!!
