I didn't particularly like this book. Didn't think it was humorous at all. It was all about poking fun at Christians, specifically about the Apocolypse, but mainly the media in general. That was it--nothing else. Maybe other people understand that from the book description and title, but I had hoped for a book that (A) was actually funny and (B) would be a kind of light-hearted look at all types of end-of-the-world scenarios. This was just making fun of various Christian beliefs, nothing else. There weren't even any little informative tidbits or useful trivia that might have made me feel a bit better for having wasted a credit on the book. A much funnier book is "Field Guide to the Apocalypse" by Meghann Marco

If Darwin fish bumper stickers have you rolling on the floor, then maybe you will think this is a funny book. IMO, that kind of humor is boring and been done a million times. (As an aside and totally unsolicited opinion, I think there are alot of people who love that kind of humor because making fun of other peoples' religion makes them feel smarter. Personally, I think that constant belittling of other peoples' beliefs is the mark of a closed-mind and a bigot, and it makes no difference whether you are talking about Christian, Hindu or Aztec there. That's all-I will now get down off my soapbox and prepare to get flamed. ;)
