After reading a few disappointing mysteries I picked up this since I was sure it would be satisfying (having read it decades before). It's an interesting whodunnit with members of a club all reaching different conclusions about how and why and who perpetrated a murder. On rereading it, I thought it was a little too long with too much philosophical babbling by various members of the club. Still better than some books.

Ingenious mystery because the wrong victim is killed by a box of poisoned chocolates, and a group who call themselves the Crime Circle are invited by Scotland Yard to solve the murder. Each of the six members of the Circle present their solution and name the murderer. Of course none approach the solution in the same way nor agree on the name of the killer. The final twist is a stunning ending. Really a good read.
