Sally Cox is a recent divorcee and bitter about it. Financial difficulties only add to her unhappiness. During the course of her job as a nursing assistant at a nursing home, she meets Mrs. Rigsby and learns that the elderly woman has a large sum of money buried. Mrs. Rigsby makes Sally promise to give the money to the poor. Sally and her coworker, Karen, decide that THEY are the poor.

I enjoyed this book that deals with the pitfalls of financial worry, the wages of greed, and God who has promised to be a refuge from both. The story was original, intriguing and highly enjoyable. I look forward to reading more by this author of Christian fiction.
