I have a wishlisted book that has a sticker on it that says Special Promo Copy. But it's not an ARC. It's the actual book with the sticker on it. DH works at a bookstore so they give away books to the staff to read, but sometimes put these stickers on them. And they aren't always ARCs. Can I posted? It's being wished for by 86 people.

I think it would be fine to post.  If this is a hardcover book and the sticker is on the dust jacket, it is not required for hardcovers to have a jacket, so you could take it off if you wish.  The other possibility is to post it, then PM the requestor to tell them about the sticker and ask if they still want it.  Some folks like to start or add to collections and may want a clean dust jacket.  Then as long as it meets book condition guidelines, I'd say your good.

I think it's postable, and I don't think you need to PM first--the responsibility is on the requestor to make those sort of extra conditions known, not on the sender to check those things.

Thanks for your help. I'll go ahead an post it. The sticker is just on the dustjacket (and it's brand new).
