I can't decide if this book is postable or not... I've read the guidelines a couple of times but they don't address this situation.... Someone wrote on the page edges in pen the number 2001, why they would do this I don't know. Otherwise the book appears to be in decent condition (It was one my mom tossed at me that I have no desire to read)

Here's a look at the writing.  and a close up.

Let me know what you think... if its not postable I'll just freebie it.

Thanks
Trish

I think that should be fine to post - ex-library books have more markings on them than that and they are acceptable.  That's not very big - I would be fine with receiving a book like that and I can be a little picky sometimes.

I personally would not have a problem with receiving this book.  I would post it!

I would just PM the requestor to make sure it's okay before sending the book.

If you are talking about the edges of the pages, opposite the spine, this has been discussed before and R&R commented that it is no different than the stamps put there by libraries and some UBS's on books.

Thanks all and thanks Sherry,

Its actually on the top edge right next to the spine but I'm still a relative newbie and wasn't 100% sure. I appreciate the confirmation of my suspicion that it was okay.
