I rec'd a book I requested that had a PBS DC# but no postage so I refused it.  Well it is showing 'delivered' back at her house.  She said she sent it again and even ordered another one for me.  The date is approaching saying "have you received this book?"  Should I just mark it as not received?

Thanks!

You don't have to "mark" anything, the system will just mark it lost automatically if you don't mark it as received.

So she's sending you 2 now?

Spuddie is right-just let it go lost. If you finally receive the book with no postage due you can mark it received from your transaction archive.

Yes, she said it was mailed Saturday.  So I will wait for it to go lost and then mark it received when I get it.  Thanks!!

Just curious.  Why did you refuse the book?  You didn't say that you were asked to pay the postage as in "postage due".  What happens to the book when you refuse it?  does it go back to the sender or stay at the PO?

Yikes, was it a large amount? I once neglected to put enough stamps on a book but the member was nice enough to pay the remaining postage and just let me know. So now I always go to the post office. I'd have just paid the money and then let them know. Honest mistake, I'm sure.
