  Prayer

Erased from consciousness
A past beyond recollection
Brick walls built to veil ones pain
In search of the truth my mind remains vacant
Eyes fused to what torture is brought upon this virgin soul
Prepped for death to disembark on the wings of black angels
Passionate hatred giving the only meaning to a depleted life
Knowledgeable to the backward system in which all chances to thrive are slit from its strings
Knowing to the fact of life that with wisdom of lies comes untrusting of all my fellow kind
Violence the remedy to all my obstacles Allah brings to face
Withstanding the pain the locked door to my heart bring with each marred day
The dark depression being hell to live in
Heaven a far off haven being an untouchable
Untanable experience
Whether to live and see another day with a tortured soul is a question wrestled with at each days end
Still just another statistic looked upon with disdain
Fighting to regain a part of me lost to the streets
Trying to climb that ride in the sky
Yet at the same time being loyal to what has forsaken me
It being the only acquaintance by my side since school days
Confused with past circumstances and present situation
Lord please tell me what to do
I pray to you
