Excerpt: A LMIGHTY GOD, Giver of the seed and of ' the soil; of the word and the understanding ; of the heavenly life and the earthly vessel; teach us the good husbandry of the heart, so that Thy precious word may bring forth fruit; and that we, having the conditions of spiritual readiness to receive the water of life, may thereby be refreshed for our daily life, and f1tted at last for the life eternal. We ask it through Jesus Christ our Lord. -- Amen.
