I found this book to be relevant to today -- it examins the fear a woman, or man, has to face when her spouse goes to war. It avoids the dirt and grime of the 12th century while keeping the thems relevant to 2009.

I had read good reviews of this 2010 book. I once was a long time romance reader and therefore have high expectations of the books I now read. This book was a well written quick read.
