A good gift for a new dad - especially one of the new breed, like myself, who intend to be every bit as present and involved with their child as its mother. Some cliche's - but nothing really offensive. I gave one to my brother-in-law when his son was born, and a copy was given to me when my daughter was born. Grab a copy to have on hand for showers and the big event!

I thought this was great. Just the right mix of humour, great ideas and helpful tips for being a dad - especially a first time one for me. I would highly recommend this book.

Amusing "handbook" for new dads. It contains the standard (and obvious) tips and bits of wisdom -- but where this book shines is in the humorous presentation of the material. While the book isn't offensive in any way, some of the humor can be on the crass side (hey, it's a guy talking about baby poop, what do you expect?). Good gift idea for new dads with sense of humor.
