Pretend it is me in the nightshade
The deep and the blue of the day
Pretend it is me in the shadows
The earth that is home to your clay
Pretend it is truth that is calling
Enfolding your life in its hands
Pretend it is crisp and enduring
A muse to your deepest commands
Pretend that my heart is your chalice
You hold in your hands as you sip
Pretend that our love is unfolding
From the low dusty throat of the hip
Pretend in my eyes you see giants
And they offer your body their throne
Pretend that your dreams are the diamonds
And the only imposters are stones

"A muse to your deepest commands"-you have a wonderful sense of what stirs people's hearts. I'm always surprised Eva by your authority over emotions through words.
