I have read a number of Monica Quill books. And this was I think the best! I could not put it down. And I was surprised at whodunit in the end.

"A Sister Mary Teresa Mystery". Four young ex- or almost ex-married women make themselves strongly in evidence as the MOMSIEs, acronym for "My One Mistake Sure Is Enough" and are quite willing to go on at length about their resentment of husbands. Particularly when one of them is brutally murdered.... When, however, two more young women in the vicinity are found strangled, the focus of crime broadens and the search for the culprit becomes increasingly complicated, involving an intimate acquaintance with a radio station that has quite openly been filling the role of pimp. Challenged by her passion for justice, the confusion of the police, and particularly by the fact that her very own neighbors are involved, in a spectacular and satisfying conclusion, Sister Mary Teresa (think Miss Marple) and her 2 young nun companions catch the killer. A totally refreshing and different crime story!
