I just used PBS postage and wrapper and set the postage date for Monday (since today is Sunday) (and  I dropped into our mail slot/box

but should tell PBS I "Mailed" today? (even though it wont get pick up

until tomorrrow (Monday)

Yes. If the book is no longer in your possession, tell PBS you mailed it. Otherwise it's too easy to forget.

I mailed one today that wa suppose to go out yesterday, but it has Fridays date on it.  Whoops!

Once it's in the hands of the USPS you should mark it mailed.  And putting it in the blue box puts it into the USPS hands.
