Primal Mothering in a Modern World
Author: Hygeia Halfmoon
"Every woman who has felt the joy of following her most primal mothering instincts, and the pain of living in a world that often discourages her from doing so, will see herself in this book. Hygeia's story is both touching and inspiring, from her heartbreaking and unnecessary C-section, to her glorious unassisted homebirth."

A paradigm shifter! Want you're conventional views of motherhood shifted? Read this book. I found a lot of what she said to be agreable. I'm all for breastfeeding, homebirth, babywearing, and homeschooling. However, the only fruit diet thing would only seem to be right up the alley of any Eat 4 your type (anyone but O type folks) and folks into the whole foods fad. Despite the lovely family on the cover of this book, the author herself has very little experience with successfully incorporating a father into her world. So a bit more could be said, or not said in that department.
