Normally, I feel like a lot of books in this genre are kind of cheesy and the characters kind of one-dimensional, but this one was really good. There was definitely chemistry between the two characters and enough history behind them that it's actually plausible when they hook up; not just love at first sight. Things get resolved a little too neatly at the end, but losing yourself in a good book isn't supposed to involve being totally realistic all the time, right? Great dialogue between the characters and definitely a big, suspenseful climax that kept me turning the pages. I was ready to marry Jackson myself by the end of the book!

Kate Mahaffey receives a frantic phone call from her meek sister Colleen. Colleen tells her to drop everything and run- there are murderous thugs after her. So Kate calls her ex husband CIA agent Jackson Prime. Jackson is still reeling from her sudden, unexplained divorcing of him years ago but rushes to her aid. Together, they must figure out where Colleen is and why these thugs are after these two sisters. Good action, nice romance- altogether recommended.
