This is #3 in this series and I was greatly entertained again. Lots of red herrings in this one. And when is Wentworth Cabot going to get a love life? All he does is admire the girls from a safe distance.

Mark Twain serves as the detective in this tale narrated by his assistant, Wentworth Cabot. The author blends Twain's historical personality and wit into his mystery plot. Rudyard Kipling also makes an appearance.
