I have sent several books using the printable postage and DC and paying the extra money. I just saw that my book was delivered to the person yesterday and it has never been scanned! Sure makes me wonder why I bother wasting the money, except for the guaranteed credit. Anyone else having this happen? |

yup it has happened before. It will show up eventually in your transaction details. When, where it was scanned really is no difference, I actually had one marked recieved days before it showed up and when I looked at the details it had been scanned at my post office, why it took nearly a week to show up I don't know, all I do know is it has happened to others too. Sometimes it will show up if it is scanned at the delivery point but that is not a guarantee either. The trick is to think of it as credit guarantee and nothing else or not to use it. |

Mary, If you use the printable postage option you get the credit as soon as you mark the book mailed. You don't have to wait until it is scanned or marked as received. Sandy |

No, I didn't get instant credit because I sent it out for a swap I was in and you don't get instant credit (you mail it to a friend in order to use the postage here at PBS). The person and moderator marked the book was received days ago. Never once was it scanned nor does it show it was delivered. This is very irritating as it's not the first time it's happened. We're forced to buy DC with postage and don't even have the certainty that it can be tracked. I just went to look and it says: No information available for this item. Please contact the sender. I never have this happen with the DC from the post office and I often mail them from home without taking them to the post office to be scanned.
