The reason is because after printing and paying for the postage on Book 1....i need t add another book to this receiver. So? Can i take it to the post office and ask them to tell me how much more postage I need? Will they allow me to affix a secondary postage label to the postage thats already on the printed PBS LABEL??

Yes, you certainly can add another book and then add the rest of the postage amount needed and send the package out. Your PO will calculate the correct postage and then subtract what you've already paid and charge you the difference.
