This was what I enjoy from Krentz- a quirky heroine, an honorable hero, some mystery and some romance. It's part of a series but is easy enough to follow as a stand alone.

This is the second book of what looks to be a fun trilogy. Unlike the first book, however which was clearly a stand alone, Krenz left enough dangling plot lines this time that hopefully the third book will solve the final fate of the cult leader. Like the first book this a tightly crafted mystery with interesting characters who are skillfully drawn. I look forward to book three.
