This book is well worth the read just for the gorgeous pictures of all of the puppies alone. It does a great job explaining not only dog training, but it also covers basic biology with illustrations and explanations of how the dog's nose and eye works. This book covers the puppy's first year, puppy list of needs, house manners, companionship, play, socialization, handling and grooming, feeding and training, clicker and training lessons, dog body language, and more. I've decided this book is a keeper and I don't even have kids yet.
