I read this because it caused a kerfluffle of anti-old skool gasps of horror on the Smart B!tches blog. In truth, this is a rather well-written "one woman's adventure" of loving, losing and winning her true love. There's plenty of smut, but all so obscurely written that I'm confident your old maiden auntie would read it with no problem. There are some typical bodice ripper elements like rape, so reader beware if you're more inclined to the newer & tamer stuff.
I thought it was a fun and bawdy ride, and it was nice to read a romance set in Regency England that didn't have marriage wagers or black sheep rakes snoozing up the plot.
