I know I have seen a purse made from 2 used CDs somewhere before, but I can't find a picture, or directions, for anything like that.  Have any of you ever seen a purse like that? 

What I have pictured in my head is 2 CDs with small holes drilled about an inch apart, almost all the way around each CD, close to the edge.  A strip of sturdy fabric is then stitched between the CDs by hand through those holes.  A strap is formed from the extended ends of that strip sewn to the CDs.  Did I dream this?!

I'd say you just came up with a great idea and should try it.  I think it sounds neat. 

I love those license plate purses that I see.  They charge so much for them though.
