hehe, this is rather funny
What do you think? I wrote this poem when I was a little over 15. It is intended to signify a child's purse, not my present purse, as some people thought! LOL. My Purse: I have a very bulky purse, But can’t get rid of a thing, For what would I do without my gum, My notebook, my pen, my fake fang? Or what about my deck of cards, My dolly’s socks and shoes, My head bands, chap stick, licorice sticks, My lemon drops and granola chews? And then again, the cards I found, Library, and a place called Norse, Costco, Safeway, Sterling Bank, Though none are valid, of course! I have 3 sets of batteries, All have been dead for a year, But someday, all I’ll recharge complete, And use them for my dolly dear! I also have some sheets of stickers, Only one is left on each sheet, The space they take up is not very much, And I give stickers to friends that I meet! My extra paper, crayons and glue, My scissors, my markers, my ink, My lace, my buttons, my ribbons and bows, My chain with the missing link; These are all needed for a happy life, Whenever away from home, But Mommy said to clean out my purse, So my money will have to go! |
