Tennessee Bureau of Investigations Detective Nikki Boyd is on her way home when her plane crashes while landing. Lucky for her, she only banged her head. As Nikki is helping passengers get off the plane, she loses sight of the woman who was sitting next to her. FBI Agents approach Nikki at the airport and ask her to help find Erika Hamilton, the woman who was sitting next to her on the plane. Erika is under the protection of the FBI; but has disappeared. She is scheduled to testify against her ex-boyfriend. The FBI agents appeal to Nikki for help.

She knows they are working against time, trying to find Erika before her former boyfriend eliminates her. This story is non-stop action. Nikki and her investigators face one obstacle after another in this case. Just when I thought they were getting close to finding Erika, something else would happen. While I loved the suspense portion of this book, I was totally bored with the romance. I don't see any chemistry between Nikki and her boyfriend Tyler. They didn't have a lot of page time, which was fine with me. My rating: 4 Stars.

Oh the twists and turns! This assignment starts off with a bang and doesn't let up. The suspense is great and the case is so interesting. Just when I think things are going to slow down for Nikki, she is taken on another thrilling ride. She doesn't get much room to breathe and yet she is able to summon the strength to follow every clue to find the missing woman. Full review is at my website.

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. In order to prepare to read this book, I did read the first two books in the series as I wanted to know what happened previously. The book does a great job in explaining what has happened in the past but I just like to read series in order. I'm glad that I did because I got to see how Nikki and Tyler's relationship grew over these books.
Nikki has joined the Missing Persons Task Force after her sister went missing 10 years ago. She now knows how families feel when love ones go missing and she takes her job very serious.

I don't want to give away any spoilers but you need to read this book in order to find out why Erika has disappeared and how Nikki feels bound and determined to find her. You will not be disappointed as the book is non-stop action and adventure. The characters are well-developed and the plot is an excellent one that will keep the pages turning unstoppable. Lisa Harris' writing is amazing as she weaves twist after twist down to the last page.
I now look forward to book four as the suspense in these books is like a non-stop roller coaster and I can't wait to go for another ride. I would highly recommend this series to those who love suspense thrillers with a hint of romance.
