A fun comic novel. Alice is a very unique character, a caricature of the goody two-shoes, wallflower, nerd. I didn't like her but I appreciated what Lipman was trying to do with her.
This author has a wonderful ability to draw up characters you will love to hate and grow to love. I enjoyed this book.
Funny book in a cute sort of way.
