Mix the sugar & peanut butter, then add the egg. Mix well.

Spoon mixture onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten dough balls by making criss-crosses with a fork on top of them. The fork can be dipped in excess sugar or flour to keep them from sticking.  

Bake  8 - 10 minutes.
