Sad news today - Sharon Kay Penman passed away today. ð¢

I just saw this on Elizabeth Chadwick's FB page! She was a great author, and by all accounts a top notch human. Very sad to hear of her passing. 

I was so shocked and saddened to read of her death.  I think it's time for a re-read to celebrate her talents.

Oh, sad news indeed!  Fortunately I have several of her books on my bookshelf unread.  Am grateful for her incredible body of work!

What a wonderful person and terrific author. I was so fortunate to have met her in person at the Tucson Book Festival a few years ago. We chatted and she autographed a copy ofKings Ransom for me ~~~~sigh. So sad to have lost her.

BTW, I just have to say that I was perusing my "watched Topics" lists on my main account page and I randomly picked a page from 2012. What a time we had back then. I almost cried (actually I did get a bit teary) looking at the comments from people we just don't hear from anymore! That is so sad. We used to chat about anything and everything - such fun! Vicky - I'm happy to see you here. How is living in Michigan?
