Diann Hunt is a hoot. She has a flow and style that is comfortable to read. Never preachy and just turn the page enjoyable. This story is about 3 best friends going to a camp reunion to save the camp, traveling in a bit of a beat up RV. Ms Hunt will show you life does not end being fun when you hit 50. It is only beginning, i find this her theme in all her books. It gives me inspiration and leaves me with a smile each time i pick up one of her books. Her words are binding for all women who love life and can laugh at the "stuff" it brings.
i wanted to like this book, but i just couldn't get into it. for about the 1st 50 to 70 pages i keep getting the charaters confused on who was who. this is the first book i have read of this author & i have more on my tbr by her so i'll give her another try.
This story can be just what we need sometimes; A cheerful, kinda predictable tale that will lift your spirits and is just an enjoyable, relaxing read.
The regular plot of bored women setting out to find adventure-and they do, but maybe not in quite the most predictable ways.
All in all, I always enjoy an uplifting and happy lark of a story now and then; as I think most of us do.
