I'm not sure, so I figured I'd ask here. I received a hardcover book today, and it's completely bent. What I mean is, if you look at the front cover, about halfway down, from the edge of the book to near the spine the entire thing, including the covers (hardcover, remember) are bent forwards a little. Nothing is actually broken, but very obviously creased. Believe me, when a hardcover is bent, it's obvious, and not really fixable. So, when you look at the book along the page edges, you can see the whole thing slant a bit to the left at the top. Other than that, it's pristine. What do you think? Is it a RWAP case? Personally, I really just want to know if I'm going to have a problem posting it again later. Thanks in advance for the help. |

I would call that a RWAP because the PBS guidelines state that you cannot post a book with "excessive cover wear." To me, a hard cover bent in on itself would definitely qualify. And I personally, wouldn't post that in good conscience. Is it a WL book, or just a book with multiple copies in the system? |

Without seeing it, I can't really tell. If there's no rip and no break in the binding, it sounds like something I'd probably consider borderline, where I'd accept but probably not repost it. I hate those, and I seem to get them in batches. |

I would probably consider it one of those' borderline' books they talk about in the PBS posting guidelines where, if you aren't sure about the condition, it is okay to post but then you send a PM to the requestor and let them decide. I did that myself with a book I was unsure of, the cover was pretty worn. It was a hard to find WL book that I would have wanted myself, no matter the condition, as long as I could read it. |

Alright. Thanks everyone. Yeah, it is a wishlist book. |
