I loved this book. The guy of course was arrogant and hard until he gives the lady a chance but it turns out to be a nice love story. These two had known each other growing up and then life separates them. They each liked the other before but he felt he was too old for her. Now life has brought them back within each others space. He has his hang-ups regarding his step-father and she has an ex who's after their daughter's money. It's a good read.

Maggie Turner needed a place to rest-somewhere to secape from her money problems, her fears and her exhusband's threats. A place where her daughter would feel safe. A place for them to heal. Craving the comfort of her small Texas hometown, her godmother's ranch should have been perfect. But the wide-open spaces were not vast enough to distance her from Gabe Coleman. Ten years later, Gabe was still blunt, rude and cold - and still as seductive. His cold formality concealed an underlying sensuality that frightened Maggie. And challenged her. She thought that marriage had cured her of desire. Then the raging passion of a Texas cowboy taught her about love.
Another winner by an author who knows how to write romance!!
