The author gives the fairy story a fine interpretation, the biggest wedding of the mid century, the handsome prince and the beautiful princess taking the World by storm. He is interested in the roles people take in life and their talent to carry them out. Grace Kelly is one who knew she was made for the "Princess" role; she carried it out with great perseverance and talent; she was right, she was perfect for the part. A very interesting aspect of their duo was the determination of Prince Rainier to pull his small country into modern times and a better fiscal future for all & exerted his foresight and drive in so many creative ways to do this. Robinson reports the Monaco government income derived from gambling and casino activities dropped to a low 4 percent; the large balance of profits are now taken from the country's light industry, banking and commerce encouraged by Rainier's administration as the supreme ruler of Monaco. As his partner in life, Grace was his equal in accomplishing these wonders. He commented to the author:"We made a great team, together".
