The new gods of Hobbs Land are spreading, ending strife and bringing clear-thinking, but not all the settlements are happy about it, and everything may not be as it seems. A well-written examination of societal interactions, religion, and relationships at all levels. The second in the loosely connected trilogy that started with Grass.
