What a wonderful conclusion Ransome's Quest Is to an adventurous and delightful series! I enjoyed every moment I spent in this book and while each book was engaging, I found this one very difficult to put down for any length of time. Captivating!

On the eve of their arrival to Julia's Jamaican home, their lives are disrupted once again when Charlotte is taken by the pirate, Salvador. This starts a chain of events that drive William, Ned, Julia, and Charlotte each apart and scrambling to survive. All of them were well written and by the time I finished this series, I didn't want to leave the wonderful cast of characters!

The world of piracy is dramatically portrayed in Ransome's Quest by Kay Dacus. The ruthlessness of Shaw is expressed in detail, becoming of such a bitter, ruthless, and hateful man. The dangerous battle scenes are accurate descriptions of high sea battles in the early 1800's.

The suspense, danger and ever-changing scenarios keep you riveted, and the budding romance and secrets pique your interest to the very end. The chivalrous behaviors are portrayed properly, reminiscent of days gone by. Definitely different from today's world!

Everything that's been building up from
"Ransome's Honor" [BOOK 1] and
"Ransome's Crossing" [BOOK 2] comes to a heart-pounding conclusion in
"Ransome's Quest" [BOOK 3]. Definitely a series you do NOT want to miss!
