Terry James does a great job of putting you in the moment. His descriptions are effective in transporting the reader. The problem for me was the story. Not a ton of punch and 'wow' moments. The budding romance between two of the main characters seemed forced and much too rapid. The romance was unsupported by the actual story telling. We are just told they love each other and have to be together.

This is probably only worth a read if you are into this Nephilim genre of christian fiction.
