This is an unusual story. One has a different view of Rasputin from that presented through the eyes of his daughter. However, the author helps us understand that people, including Rasputin, are complex creatures and we do not always like the differences we see. I loved this story and would give it 4 stars.
Rasputin's daughter Maria tells her story of the last 9 months of his life and a sumery of the 4 months following his death. She tells the story of the way she sees her dad and his actions and the people around him. In addition, between chapters you will read from the group of people and their side of the story when and how they planned and to kill Rasputin.
