I initially bought the book because while searching the web for info on my step dad I ran across his name mentioned in this book. I found several mentions of him in the chapter "Trail of the Century". It helped clear up some things for me & the dates mentioned clicked right along with our paths crossings for the final time.
If you like to read about mobsters, self important men & political bullshit then this is the book for you. I found some of it a bit hard to choke down, but overall I enjoyed it.
