This book was a nice introduction to the why's of starting a raw food diet. It was also a mini-journal of that family's adventures in hiking while foraging for food. They also wrote about some health problems that they all had that were eliminated by a raw food diet. It was interesting but not so inspiring as to make me never eat cooked food again. I do think more raw food in the diet is especially important and this family could encourage you to add more raw food to your diet.
