With a premise of a bibliophile who can control paper and works for the Library of England recovering rare books, I had high hopes for this series.

Unfortunately, the series did not live up to it. While the plot was a bit more interesting here-things started coming together so it wasn't quite as much of a confusing to follow mess--never sure if I wasn't following or if it was that bad--the main character managed to get even more annoying as she fell apart. I didn't feel sympathy really for her though, having never been brought much to care for the character since she was rather flat. The background on the previous Paper was sorta nice--except I never quite figured out what the other papermaster was up to--did he work for Joker? For Library of England? Why did the LoE need someone like him? (Though what the LoE is up to was never clear the entire series).

I was not that impressed. I read V1&V2 then quit (V2 wasn't an improvement--I tend to give manga series 2 volumes). I later ended up with V3&V4 as part of a bulk manga purchase so I gave them a shot--they were better, but still not that good and not worth slogging through the rest.
